What are the key features?
Nirra gives every meal a Personal Fit verdict (great, good,
moderate, or skip) read against your allergies, diet style,
health conditions, deficiencies, and goals, with a 0–100 health
score and the reasoning ingredient by ingredient. Log meals six
ways: photo, voice, barcode, search, recipe, or ingredient
label, drawing on 2M+ foods. The dashboard tracks calories,
macros, 11 micronutrients, water, weight, and supplements (22
presets plus custom), with weekly trend bars and two-way Apple
Health sync. Your profile and history sync to the cloud across
devices, four themes (Refined, Ocean, Sunset, Midnight) let you
pick a palette, no account is required to start, and barcode
lookups for previously scanned items still work offline.
How accurate is the photo recognition?
Nirra recognises most everyday foods well, estimates portions, and
cross-checks the numbers against trusted nutrition data. Lighting,
angle, and messy plates make it harder, so you can always edit any
item before logging. Your edits help future scans.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. You can use Nirra without signing in. Sign in with Apple or
Google any time to back up your data and pick up on a new device.
How is Personal Fit different from a calorie target?
A calorie target only knows about energy. Personal Fit reads the
full picture: your allergies, diet style, health conditions,
deficiencies, and weight goal. Then it issues a verdict on every
scan with the reasons. Think of it as the difference between a
scale and a coach.
What about my data?
Your nutrition data is yours. It is encrypted in transit and at
rest. We do not sell or share it, and we do not train third party
AI on your scans. You can export everything from Settings, or
delete your account and wipe it.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel any time from your App Store or Google Play
subscription settings. Your data stays. You just drop back to the
free experience.
Does it work offline?
Barcode lookups for products you have scanned before work offline.
Photo and voice need a connection. Anything you log offline syncs
the next time you are online.
